we were challenged throughout, which is what you would expect from any infantry career course
In February, C Company ran a PNCO cadre. 72 Riflemen and Rangers from across the Regiment were picked to attend. The aim of the course was to prepare candidates for promotion to LCpl, focussing on mental and physical robustness, navigation, individual field craft and the administration of an infantry section.
Although challenging at times, I found
the cadre to be extremely informative. It also developed me as a soldier in general thanks to the course structure. We learned so much and it was really informative, meaning that when we return to our sections the Rfn will benefit from our knowledge. It was far from easy though and we were challenged throughout, which is what you would expect from any infantry career course.
