                                WHAT’S ON
In and Around Thrapston
 Rotary Shoebox Appeal Launch Day
October 5th from 10-1pm in Thrapston Plaza, Cosy Nook Thrapston.
We will again be filling 300 boxes for children in desperate need. We will have all items there that can go in the boxes.
Come along and make a box up – £5 gets you a box and shipping. Just put in the box what you want out of our stock. Everything we put out, we know is safe to go in a box.
It is a fun, amazing, experience, ideal for children and adults alike. You can bring a special item to add if you like - a photo or a letter even.
Random acts of kindness can change a child’s future. I personally have met someone who received one and it transformed her
life. She went on to translate for the shoebox appeal distributors. To know someone thousands of miles away cares about you is a feeling like no other, especially to someone who has nothing.
Imagine if your child had not one toy
– how exciting would it be to get a box of them. I have given boxes out to children with nothing in Kyrgyzstan: nothing at all.
It leaves a lasting impression on you to see the joy as they open the box. Please come along and make a difference to a child’s life.
God Bless,
Lindsey and Cindy
