What makes The Falcon different? We
offer food and drink for every occasion. If you’re looking for a drink and a snack, whilst enjoying a game of darts in our Tap Bar, having something quick and easy off of our bar menu while catching up with friends, or celebrating
a formal occasion with our 2AA rosette A la Carte menu. We focus on sustainability, vetting suppliers and monitoring energy consumption. Our allotment provides herbs for the kitchen!
Proudest moment? Recently being finalists in the Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards for three categories and our Guinness loaf winning an award in it! Our loaf went from being literally our ‘bread and butter’ throughout lockdown when we opened as a takeaway and shop, to a staple product on our menu for guests to enjoy.
Something people don’t know about you?
Everything on our menu is homemade! We take great pride in making everything as fresh as possible, from our breads to our ice creams!
Who inspires you? It may sound cliche, but our families. They both offer constant support, words of advice, and even help us out with the gardening and bar work from time to time!
How would you best describe your type of cuisine? The food has certainly become more relaxed and honest, cooked from the heart but still refined. We also run great offers throughout the year such as ‘Pie and a Pint’: order a pie off of our pie menu and get a pint, wine, or soft drink on us (Tues-Thurs in November) and ‘Fish and Chip Fridays’: our standard menu Fish and Chips for just £10 all day on a Friday!
Is the produce locally sourced? Always! We are so fortunate to have so many local producers in the area, and we love to celebrate that fact.
Do you cater for private functions? We do! From intimate private dining in The Cottage, to exclusive use of the premises for pizza parties to weddings! We now have our wedding ceremony license too to offer the whole package!
