MUNCH CLUB
Lunch with friends
A group of volunteers set up Oundle Monday Munch Club in 2013 following conversations at several meetings with The Head Teacher
at Oundle Primary School and Kingswood Education Catering Company.
Our first Munch Club was held in September 2013, and immediately grew in numbers.
We have celebrated Christmas and Easter with numbers exceeding 100. Quite often these two festive meals have been free of charge due to very kind donations from various companies.

Sometimes there is enough food left over for second helpings!
We cater for people who are elderly, disabled, lonely or just never cook a roast dinner even though they enjoy that kind of meal. We have no age limit, and carers or family can attend as well. There is no problem with dietary requirements as long as we are aware of these, and we will arrange an alternative.
Club meetings are held once a month
on a Monday at the Oundle Church of England Primary School in Cotterstock Road, between the times of 1.40pm and 3.15pm. We do this for 11 months of the year, excluding August. A roast dinner is provided each time followed by a hot or cold pudding and tea or coffee afterwards.
Each time, one lucky person will receive a box of chocolates. On arrival we will give each person a raffle ticket – whoever has the winning ticket goes home with the chocolates!
Also, the Oundle schoolchildren provide entertainment be it singing or playing their musical instruments. We celebrate birthdays
