Spring is in the air...
From bowling to birds and Easter cake to a 10k run – it’s all in this issue...
We all love this time of year – when the days get lighter and brighter and the nights a little less chilly. Spring has truly sprung and Easter is on it’s way – there’s chocolate everywhere!
Who knew that Oundle had a gambling problem? Well clearly the lovely people at the museum did, as they have a confiscated roulette wheel taken from the horse races (page 8).
Oundle Life is hoping to feature some of the sports and leisure clubs that Oundle has to offer – this month it’s the Bowls Club (page 10).
If you’ve been working hard in the garden, why not put your feet up, grab a cuppa and try your hand at our crossword (page 20).
Alternatively, if you’re feeling energetic, you could pop your running shoes on and join in the fun at the Titchmarsh 10k (page 26).
After all that running, you can afford to reward yourself with a nice slice of AGA’s Easter cake. It looks truly delicious and hardly any calories per slice – if you believe that, you really are an April Fool! (page 30).
