This issue features some amazing community people, past and present...
Goss Bros was THE most amazing high street shop! Eyes would widen as customers saw the floor to ceiling display of things for sale – from knitting wool to scented erasers and blotting paper to sewing patterns. Behind the counter, always happy to help, was Prue Goss, a second generation shopkeeper. Prue was Thrapston through and through, from amateur dramatics to her time on the council – her life was dedicated to the town that she loved. In this issue the town joins together to remember an incredible life (page 7).
Just up the street from the old Goss Bros shop, is another fabulous retailer – Age UK
Northamptonshire – where you might just think you’re seeing triple (page 20).
Keith Morson is another ‘Force for good’ in the town, raising money for the Anthony Nolan charity through marathons, puddings and much more (page 15).
