Julia Thorley is originally from Staffordshire, but is now based in Northamptonshire, a county she is happy to call home. She writes and edits articles and features for non- ction magazines, journals and books. On the ction front, she has won recognition in local and national competitions, including through Writing Magazine, the Association of Freelance Writers and the H E Bates Short Story Competition. Readers’ thoughts and comments are welcome: criticisms, too, as long as they are presented gently.
