Remembrance Day Parade
On Remembrance Day 2021, the Regiment was on regimental ranges in Castlemartin, Wales. We were kindly invited to take part in the town Remembrance Day Parade in Pembroke. Marching through the streets alongside other local serving personnel, veterans and cadets, as well as numerous civilian and civic organisations, we felt lucky to have been included in the town’s service.
This service was held at the town’s memo- rial, outside the walls of Pembroke Castle. Afterwards, the Regiment was hosted by the Mayoress of Pembroke and other local dignitaries in the town hall. This is the first time that the whole regiment has been together on remembrance day for several years, and it made for a poignant occasion, as we remember those from the regimental family who have fallen in conflict.
