clock. As much as it was fun being in Denmark, the lads realised its an expensive place to be and unfortunately our bank accounts haven’t got too much in them. Fully clothed in all our ‘oilys’ we were ready to hit the high seas once more and see what speeds our yacht could reach. Surprisingly our skipper trusted us enough to leave us up top in the rough seas. It was arguably the most excit- ing part of the trip and in perhaps a sign from above the sun burnt through the clouds as we approached Kiel once more, we had weathered the storm and returned ‘home’. We quickly cleaned the yacht, handed it over to the next crew and made our way back to Tidworth. It was a fantastic trip with many of the lads walking away wanting to do more, gain further qualifications and sail in other parts of the world with the Regiment in the future.
