cherry variety, whereas its Yellow Mimi for me, an equally sweet yellow cherry variety. As you can see from the photos, there
comes a peak point each summer where we have colander (and last year even a washing up bowl!) full of tomatoes being picked on a weekly basis. They don’t go to waste though – whether we eat them raw in salads or batch cook passata, pizza base sauce, ratatouille, soups or stews for use throughout the winter months, they all get used.
So, we definitely have some varieties on the list to grow again for 2024, but we’ll have to see what catches our eye in the seed catalogues before sowing time for new varieties for this year!
