                                  SING WITH US
There has never been a better time to join
Singing together in a choir is an excellent way of meeting new people, exercising your brain and having fun.
Oundle and District Choral Society is a mixed voice choir and there are currently about 70 members who meet regularly on a Monday evening in term time at 7.30pm in Laxton Junior School. Membership is £55 per term, which includes copies of the scores. Rehearsals end at 9.30pm, including a short mid-
way break which gives everyone the
chance to chat and socialise. At the start
and end of term we aim to have a social gathering, with drinks and nibbles, and
last term we organised a raffle to raise
funds for Ukraine. I can honestly say

are regularly supported by musicians from Oundle School, and professional soloists, which is uplifting for us as well as our audience! Our repertoire is varied, from Requiems and Masses to spirituals and carols; details of our past concerts are on our website. We are very fortunate to be conducted by Quentin Thomas, and accompanied by Elizabeth Arkell, both of Oundle School, who both show great patience
as they guide us through the works. There are no auditions and all are made very welcome!
Rehearsals for the new term begin on Monday 5th September – do join us! Tessa Leuchars
