the Friends of Oundle Library 2023 Scenes Around Oundle calendar, which has these stunning pictures of Oundle’s Yarn Bombing for the Queen’s
Platinum Jubilee on
the cover. It goes on
sale in early September and will be available
to buy for £7.00 from Oundle Library, the Oundle Book Shop
and Colemans.
The calendar raises
money which is used
by the Friends to
pay for things that Oundle
Library would otherwise lack. Over the years it has funded the purchase of furniture and equipment as well as paying for competition prizes and children’s entertainers.

WHAT A SCENE
Red, white and blue!
This year the Friends and a team of dedicated volunteers have focused on improving the library garden, and it’s
now a lovely space for customers to enjoy. And as part of this commitment to the outdoors the FOOL committee also made a financial
competition earlier this year. And of course the project wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of the local businesses who sponsor it.
