Thrapston Beer Festival
This August Bank Holiday weekend sees the 5th Annual Thrapston Beer Festival held at Thrapston’s Sports Club and Playing Fields in Chancery Lane.

guests on Friday night. Saturday sees
music from Point Blank and 70’s Glam Rock band Hogwash followed by more music on
the Sunday from Lodestone as well as an Abba tribute act. A family fun day held on the Sunday afternoon is always very well attended with
lots to do, including crazy golf, archery and axe throwing, bungie trampolines, Nerf gun arena as well as lots of inflatable fun.
There will also be on offer a fabulous array of food stalls from Jamaican and Mexican Street Food to Burgers and Fish & Chips as well as cake stands, candy stalls and ice cream.
There will be a range of beers from local
offerings at your leisure over the course of the weekend.
All of this is made possible by
the hard work of the Beer Festival Committee: Leigh Morris, Jo & Annie Thurbon, Ned, Nick Wesby, Danny
Warren, Steve Kilby & Alan & Claire Fox (as well as a whole host of volunteers who help over the weekend). Over the years they have donated in excess of £21,000 to The Food Bank, Chat Youth, St James Church Hall, AMMF, MIND and local sporting teams.
This year’s beer festival takes place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th August so why not pop down, support your local charities whilst supping an ale, eating some food and listening to some very good music amongst friends!
