Mini-bus replacement
Earlier this year, a distressing event shook
the pupils, staff and parents of Oundle C of E Primary School when their essential mini-bus was stolen. This was purchased three years ago after the successful fundraising of the PSA. It was more than just a means of transport: it was a vital part of the school’s ability to provide enriching experiences for its pupils. Now, the school is appealing to the community for help in raising funds to replace the stolen mini- bus, ensuring that children do not miss out on valuable opportunities going forward.
The mini-bus facilitated safe travel for trips to local venues and events, allowing students to explore and learn outside the classroom. Regular outings to local swimming pools and sports events also promoted physical activity
and teamwork. Without the mini-bus, these extracurricular activities are at risk, potentially limiting the students’ exposure to broader learning experiences.
The school is desperate to raise the funds
to find the difference between the insurance payout and the cost of a bus in today’s climate.
