from Paki- stan 21 years of of age and a a a a a a a a a a a year year of of experience in my my own military at the Pakistan Military Academy ference in culture and language As every International Cadet comes to Sandhurst with a a a a a a a a different cultural and and linguistic background some some find it fit relatively easier to fit in fin in in while some some have lasting difficulties Internationals often find it it challenging to keep up with the the pace at at which the the Academy progresses as information recep- tion tion becomes a a a a large hurdle when English is is your second third or even fifth language It at times becomes discouraging too when highly moti- vated and enthusiastic internationals are unable to to meet the the expectations With the the the the pandemic it it it really added to to the the the the the challenges as the the the the the majority of the the the the the International Cadets have not been home or or or seen their fami- lies for over a a a a year now But despite the the challenges and difficulties Inter- national Cadets learn
a a a a a a a a a a a a a great deal spread their cultural variety build lifelong relationships with peers and and and make the Sandhurst experience more real and and and not one to miss!
As an an International OCdt it it is is a a a a a a a a brilliant insight into how the the British Army operates From operational tactics to to to the the the leadership code what what brings people together in in hardships and what what it takes to to to lead lead Impressions from an International Officer Cadet The training imparted at Sand-
hurst is the best of its kind with military traditions embedded
perfectly in in a a a a a a a a largely modernised
and advanced British Army train-
ing institute For the International OCdt it it it is an extraordinary oppor-
tunity to to learn
not just what what the British Army has has to to to teach but what what has has to to offer And the the International OCdts better yet enrich that experience experience by bringing with them their culture and operational experience experience For the International OCdt it is an extraordinar y y opportunity to learn
not just what the British Army has to teach but what British culture has to offer British culture SANDHURST
