This time last year we were headed towards an uncertain Christmas period, with lockdowns
in place. Whilst celebrations, and visitations to family members, were somewhat curtailed, you can’t simply cancel Christmas. Whatever is done to the celebration, whether it’s changing its name, as many try to do each year, or cancelling it altogether, you can’t change the reason it exists.
A little over 2000 years ago an event took place that changed history like no other. It
all began with the birth of baby in the most unlikely of places, and in the most insignificant of towns. The baby was the Christ (hence we have Christ-mass), the ‘Saviour of the world’ - What a bold claim to make about a child!
We are meeting in-person on Sunday mornings for worship, Wednesday evenings for prayer and in our LIFEgroups on various days. If you’d like to join us, you can find all the links on our website www.thrapstonbaptist.co.uk.
