 Thrapston Dreamers
Oh no he didn’t! Oh yes he did! The Dreamers are at it again...
Rehearsals are now well underway for Thrapston’s very own pantomime that will see more than 50 young people take to
the stage. The production of “Jack and the Beanstalk” will be the latest from Thrapston Dreamers, and its team are proud to say that it is as “home-grown” as the best panto productions should be. A cast made up
of actors from Thrapston and surrounding villages will be supported by an equally local backstage crew in a show that is also produced by a team of Thrapston volunteers.
The show will be the fourth pantomime that the Dreamers team has brought to the stage, and - for the first time - the cast at

The Plaza will be made up entirely of children and young people. The Dreamers team
are now asking their audiences to save the performance dates now - Friday 15th and Saturday 16th February.
Show producer Lindsay Latimer said that rehearsals are going well, adding that the Dreamers team are determined to give their audiences a show to remember. “Jack and the Beanstalk is one of the most traditional of the panto stories. We’ll be retaining many of the panto features that you’d expect to see, but will add some of our own magic ingredients. Our performances may be a little way off, but we want to make sure that as many people as possible make a note right now of the performance dates.
“We are also pleased to announce that we have a main show sponsor - LCS Energy
- but we would still welcome support from local businesses who feel that they would like to support our team of talented young people.”
