The recently reopened and expanded museum has permanent galleries featuring history, art and our spectacular, internationally renowned
shoe collection. The new temporary exhibition gallery has a varied programme of touring and in-house exhibitions throughout the year.

There’s a great programme of events, talks, workshops and activities and our new café, serving a wide range of tasty food, focused on the best from local producers. The museum shop has products from local artisans and items that reflect our collections and exhibitions, and the new Selling Gallery is an exciting showcase for the work of local artists and creators, where you can browse and buy.
