OUTSTANDING SERVICE
On behalf of The Rifles’ family, we would like to thank Musician Colin Thompson for 50 years of outstanding service as
a professional musician to both the Regiment and British Army music.
Colin may have marched off the square for the final time, but with military music being a family affair for the Thompsons we are confident that he will remain a familiar face to The Band and Bugles.

800th Anniversary
In February three Wiltshire County Lord Lieutenant Cadets attended an event involving HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall at Salisbury Cathedral. This marked a celebration of the 800th anniversary of the foundation of Salisbury Cathedral.
The Lord Lieutenant said that the event was a huge success and the attending cadets did the Regiment proud. HRH The Prince of Wales stopped to speak to the Cadets, who were exceptionally well turned out in their Service Dress.
