It is split between the things we want (sport, adventure training etc.) and the things we need (deployment support, debt help, rent, mental health assistance, etc.). Queen’s Regulations require that 51% of your money goes to Need, the rest to Want. You can see that you get out twice as much as you put in, as the Regt has savings (inc. Care for Casualties donations) that have been carefully invested to provide an income that is a great force multiplier.
