It’s amazing how much ‘Love in a box’ can help across the world
Our 500 plus boxes have left Thrapston to begin their journey to make some children very happy. Also some household, baby boxes have gone too.
We could not have done this without the fantastic support we get from the Thrapston Community. You have been amazing with donating bits for boxes and donating money.
This year we did Rotary shoeboxes and it was an amazing success.
More people did boxes at home, as we missed doing our big Shoebox Launch Day in Church. Thank you Buddy, Leo and Isaac (our youngest helpers) for packing things at home and to the lovely Teg Curl for the use of her garage to store our pallets. We were able to send the same amount as we always send – well over 500, and with COVID going
on that was an amazing achievement. But we could not do it without your support.
It is a massive achievement in these challenging times and the quality of our boxes, remained as usual, of a high standard, despite restrictions due to COVID.
All done abiding by social distancing in my garden and in Thrapston Baptist Church.
Beleruz, Kosova and Rumania are just some of the destinations they are going to. It was a real community event, so give
yourselves a pat on the back. This is an amazing community who support all good causes and an amazing town to live in.
We are still accepting items for shoeboxes as we plan to do more after Christmas. We can send all year now – so hopefully we can do 2/3 deliveries a year with your help. We intend to restart our workshop days as soon as possible too.
We can take small items of childrens clothing (especially babies), small toys, games, cars, skipping ropes, bubbles, jewellery and household items for special boxes. Items for older teenagers too.

So please just drop donations off at 10 Heron Avenue, Thrapston or if you would rather do an Operation Christmas Child box – we can supply a box and get it collected for you.
