PULSE FITNESS TO SUPPLY THE MINISTRY OF DEFENCE FOR A FURTHER 4 YEARS
The very nature of life in the Ministry of Defence demands that personnel are fit, physically active and ready for any challenge. Forces are regularly put through their paces to test and challenge their fitness levels and ensure the whole team is operating to the best of its ability. To support this, the MoD relies on market-leading providers such as Pulse Fitness to supply top of the range fitness equipment and aid its comprehensive physical training programmes.
Pulse Fitness has been supplying
and supporting the MoD with fitness
equipment and services for nearly a
decade. This relationship sees Pulse
supply and support the Royal Navy,
Royal Marines, Army and Royal Air Force as well as the Ministry of Defence Police. ‘Pulse currently supplies equipment to over 90% of MoD facilities worldwide,’ says Graham White, National Accounts Manager at Pulse and member of the British Army for
30 years prior. Following nine years of continued, comprehensive support to all areas of the MoD, Pulse Fitness’ contract with Team Leidos to provide physical training equipment to the MoD has been renewed for a further four years following a successful re-tendering process. Team Leidos is a delivery partner to the MoD and are contracted to provide the procurement and inventory management of comMoDity items as well as storage and distribution services. ‘Our continued status as a trusted supplier is testament to how hard Pulse works to understand the service level required by the MoD ’ continues White.
