This month’s Oundle Life Local Hero winner is absolutely lovely. We received this email...
My hero is Christine Grandidge from Glapthorn. She checks I’m about each day
and she has been invaluable all over lockdown with contacts, flowers, chats and making me aware she is always there if I need anything. In normal times she includes me in her life and often suggests things we could do together such as local events, cinema etc. She is kindness itself to all and always puts others before herself and she doesn’t get much thanks for being so kind. Please find a spot for her as a deserving hero.
We surprised Christine with an Afternoon Tea for Two voucher (for The Boxwood Cafe at The Barn Garden Centre) and her certificate.
Glapthorn is truly blessed to have Christine, she is a worthy recipient of our award.
