Operation Teamwork has been at the forefront of everything we do. This was created by the Army to instil teamwork and create a collective ethos for its officers and soldiers

Since its rollout at the start of the year Operation TEAMWORK has been at the forefront of everything we do. This was created by the Army to instil teamwork and create a collective ethos for its officers and soldiers. This also had the aim of ensuring
that cultures and attitudes that were once deemed acceptable are changed for the better, to futureproof the Army and to strive for better operational outcomes. The Band and Bugles
of The Rifles has bought into this fully with several days of lectures, discussions, and debates. We took the ideas of teamwork and team cohesion further by having several social events and activity days throughout the year. Most notably we had a day of command tasks, where we were put into teams to complete representative military tasks. What was our most enjoyable activity day was when we had a day out to a lake in the New Forest and went to an inflatable waterpark. Placed in the middle of an extremely busy summer season, it was a great opportunity to have fun and completely forget about the stresses of our summer, as well as enabling us to bond further as a team.
