Sat 11th May. 9:45.Ughill Farm . West Shaw Lane Sheffield S6.
Following our dona􏰀on to the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust they have put on a tour of Ughill Farm for us. There is very li􏰁le parking on West Shaw Lane so we will meet at The Sands Car Park in Lower Bradfield. S6 6LA at 9:45. Then go up to the farm in one or two cars.
The walk is about 1 to 1.5 hours on farm tracks, some fields, uphill terrain but not too hard, and back on lanes. (2 miles) Sturdy boots and waterproofs are needed. There are no facili􏰀es on the site but there is a cafe/bar and toilets in Lower Bradfield.
Numbers are limited to 15. Can you let me know by 3rd May, so I can let them know how many of us to expect. If spare places they may invite others to join us. Nature Friendly Farming will be the focus, expect to see moorland birds - Curlew, Pipits, Golden Plover. More birding in the a􏰂ernoon.
