Tuesday Together and Saturday Coffee mornings have returned and proved very popular, so why not join us in St James’ Thrapston between 10am and 12noon on Tuesdays or Saturdays, where there is always a good biscuit and chat to be enjoyed.
From the 21st September we will also be restarting Tuesday Communion Services at 9.45am in the chancel of St James’ Church. All are welcome as we explore a little bit of God’s word and remember Christ’s sacrificial death that offers us eternal life.
Praise and Play is a group for pre-school children and their parents or carers. It’s a time to chat, play, eat snacks, make friends, sing songs and hear a Bible story. We now meet in church every Monday morning during term time from 9.15am - 10.30am so why not drop in, make new friends and join in the fun.

Have you already tried and found you didn’t understand much? Help will be at hand in St James Church on Saturday 23rd October (10am- 4pm) and Sunday 24th October (11am-4pm) Come and learn about the best selling book in the world.
Did you know there has been a Christian church in Thrapston for 800 years? Look out for the quiz that can be completed during half term. St James’ Church will be open during half term as some of the answers will be found inside!

For the time being we are going to continue to be socially aware but leaving it to personal choice regarding the wearing of masks, except for the morning services when we ask you do. Cream teas afternoon We finally managed a gathering for Cream Teas, for Christian Aid on the 22nd August. We must give thanks to all the lovely people who came, made cakes and scones, helped and also to Terry Badger, who entertained us, playing his organ.
