Things to do around the area...
Why not make the most of the sun at The Hive Holiday Club?
Summer is right around the corner which means The Hive Holiday Club is back
at Thrapston Primary School. This year we are all very excited to be making the most of the sun by expanding on to the school field during the hottest days. Field activities will include a range of games, sports and water related activities. Fingers crossed the children don’t plan on getting us too soaked, but we don’t doubt that they’ve already begun planning.
This summer is set to be extra exciting with the use of the school field, but even during the colder days spent indoors children of all ages told us the following things that they’ve enjoyed getting up to at The Hive:
• I like to play group games and looking after the little kids. I love to cook. When I first came to The Hive it was amazing and I met new friends. I like new people. I love it! - Poppy
• I like making things - Lily
• I like the library. I like building playsets.
I like to play on the playground. I like making food. I like playing football. I like colouring. I like holiday club - Niamh
• I like how there’s lots of things to do and you can’t
get bored - William
• You can do arts and crafts, I like making
things. I like helping the youngest ones, they are nice to play with, we play group games. I like meeting new people - Henry
The Hive is open to children currently in reception to year 7 from all schools. All day sessions from 8:00am to 6:00pm cost £20.00 per child. Half days (starting/ ending at 1pm) cost £12.00. There is a 25% discount for any siblings attending the same session. A breakfast and afternoon snack is also included.
