Flower Arranging
You don’t have to be a professional flower arranger to enter the decorative classes, but someone with flair could win £25 for a large pedestal arrangement! Or, if miniature is more your talent, perhaps an exhibit entitled ‘In a Nutshell’ might fire your imagination?
Showstoppers!
If you’re a keen home cook then jars of jelly and bottles of homemade cordial alongside handmade bread or vegan cakes may be your jam. Or maybe you can try your hand at a showstopper cake for a Summer birthday.
The show is open to all, not just those from Oundle but around about too.
OHS has many members (patrons), all committed to widen the art of growing plants and to encourage the next generation to learn from us. OHS holds public talks in Fletton House from October to March, and the first in the next season is on 2nd October about the growing of bulbs. Following that are talks on rare plants; ‘Plants for Pagans’, wildlife gardening, and tips for growing vegetables – all given by experts in the field. Everyone is welcome!
