  Sri Lanka – NAS Holiday
Food Growing Tour 2019
This is a gentle paced, special interest guided tour
of this beautiful island
The National Allotment Society will
be running their second Food, Culture and Wildlife Tour to Sri Lanka; this will run from the 15th November to 27th November. A full itinerary of the tour is available from Head Office on 01536 266576 or via natsoc@nsalg.org.uk.
Last year we visited farms to experience different growing methods, the Coconut Research Station, Kandy University, Agriculture Institute, a local large fish market and many other wonderful growing experiences. If you are interested in being part of this trip, places are limited so please make contact to register your interest.
This is a gentle paced, special interest guided tour of this beautiful island,
to allow everyone to fully appreciate the aspects of the vibrant culture and landscape. Many vegetables that we grow at home are cultivated in Sri Lanka and wildlife is everywhere. The tour price is £1340 per person for
a 13-day guided tour, with a single supplement of £420; international flights are extra. The special price includes the cost of very good accommodation and meals throughout the trip.
