Our on-site rain gauge confirms the very low summer 2022 rainfall in our area, recording only 67mm in the four summer months of April to July inclusive which is only 37% of the expected long-term average of 182mm.
On Sunday 26th June we held a site open day as part of
the village’s Sustainability Weekend which was attended by numerous residents. They were shown around the site and, on the way, cast their votes for the best scarecrow competition. At the end of the afternoon plotholders gathered for a picnic to celebrate the first 10 years of success.
