active though, there is opportunity aplenty. Head out on a glass bottomed boat or book a catamaran cruise to explore secluded coves and uninhabited islets. Tamarin Bay is the place to be for a spot of dolphin watching, and if you time it right, you might be lucky enough to
see whales – an experience from our last trip that we will remember forever. Inland, Black River Gorges National Park harbours rare flora, fauna, and birds. Take a guided hike to really immerse yourself in nature, or opt for a horse- drawn carriage ride at Domaine des Pailles, touring spice gardens, sugar houses, and a rum distillery, with tastings aplenty.
