Oundle Car Club
Since our little gathering last
January in Oundle with half
a dozen people, the club has
grown far beyond expectations
– now having 250 members. It’s a really eclectic mix of people and cars, which is just what we wanted!
We have had several car meets at local pubs. The Falcon Inn at Fotheringhay has welcomed us with open arms ... little did we know how many of the staff are car enthusiasts!
Maddy from The Falcon said: “It was a real spectacle seeing these fabulous cars turn up. Zak and I are delighted to be working with Oundle Car Club! We are very much enjoying their visits with their gorgeous cars (love heart eyes!). Keep your eyes peeled for events such as car festivals, pizza nights, ‘Cars and Coffee’ and many more exciting events to come, as we go full throttle in planning with Suzie and the team!”
We have several more events planned there including a pizza and quiz night and a Christmas Social for the club. We really want to keep the social side going over the winter
months, as although many owners will have their cars tucked up safely for the winter it’s still great to get together for a natter.
Our aim was to create a club that welcomes all, and it was great to see one of our members bringing along their grandchild to an event at the Sondes Arms in Rockingham. On a personal level we had all three of my brothers, several cousins and an Uncle at another event at the Montagu Arms in Barnwell. We’ve seen much more of each other since the club started!
I think it has given people a bit of inspiration
