Peterborough Opera
Peterborough Opera have now established
a performance centre in Oundle, producing concerts in St. Peter’s Church and fully staged performances in the Queen Victoria
Hall. This move was due to the closure,
and then takeover, of the Key Theatre
and Studio in Peterborough and the consequently prohibitive hire costs.
since with the exception of Covid, and this year when they have only just acquired a new musical director, hence the concert ‘Favourite
Sadly they are now without a stage
crew to facilitate a full production and
are looking to find at least three willing
and interested persons to take on these
roles for them. The main staged opera is
at the end of October, often coinciding with the school’s half term and is usually for three nights, plus dress and technical rehearsals.
