To see events like the Crazy Hats Walk, organised by people who have also been affected, and who freely give of their time, because they care, is truly wonderful. With their selfless hard work they provide help, hope and comfort, not only to the sick but also to those who have been left behind and the carers. They also provide something else which is very important and that is to bring fun and laughter back into stricken lives and a sense of not being alone.
