This fear factor wasn’t much help when one of the instructors, OCdt Langley, was found dog- ging (I promise that’s a climbing term) his way up one of the climbs, really showing us how not to do it.

a number of crags in the area to keep people interested and to get as many climbs done as possible. By the end of the week the progression of the group was considerable in both practical and theoretical terms as the instructors took the group through lessons on rope work back in the villa in the anticipation of some people moving on to get their own qualifications.
After what seemed like such a quick week it was sadly time to leave the villa and get back to the UK. Everyone in the group had a fantastic time and gained massively from the experience. To the instructors thank you again for your patience and to the Sandhurst Trust thank you for the financial support, without which this trip would not have been possible!
