P. 3

      FOREWORD
Across the spring many activities have taken place on sea, land and in the air as our cadets are really in the swing
of their training. In addition, much preparation went into the many events both supported and engaged in across Yorkshire and the Humber in support of the Coronation of His Majesty, King Charles III. Those lucky enough to
be invited or secure places at either
As summer progresses thoughts will be turning to Annual Camps, where a great many of our cadets will experience the thrill and excitement
of attending a new adventure. Spare
a thought for all the work behind the scenes which will have gone into making the camps so successful. Enjoy camps and tell us all about it after the event and let us all know how much

the Coronation or the Concert at Windsor, together with Garden Parties thoroughly enjoyed the chance of a lifetime; whilst across the counties many events took place, including services, parades and other fun activities, which were fully supported by our cadet forces. 868 (Mirfield) Squadron can always be relied upon for interesting articles and they have not let the side down for this issue, although the question has been raised as to how the Officer Commanding looks so young these days! If you are a unit commander do send stories in, the Editor knows how much is going on out there in each
of the cadet forces, just tell the rest
of Yorkshire and the Humber what you are doing and spread the word of all the hard work and effort you are putting into your units to benefit the cadets.
you have enjoyed it.
Many of the activities mentioned
above have also featured on the RFCA website at https://www.rfca-york- shire.org.uk in addition to their own media channels. Do take a look at the RFCA website too.
Please continue to send, high quality stories and pictures in for
the magazine, which makes for excellent reading material, not just around Yorkshire and the Humber, but nationally. A plea though, do look closely at the quality of the pictures being sent with stories; many have been rejected as they were of poor quality or content and would detract from what would otherwise be good contributions. Keep sending your stories and do please note the copy dates below and the guidance notes on submission of articles.
