The Annual North West Branch Association events commenced with the Christmas function held at the Royal Ruskin Hotel, Blackpool our venue for over 20 years.
However, this year was a very welcome return with a major refurbishment to the Hotel and some added real estate from the purchase of the Hotel next door, which also received a massive refurbishment which included 30 premier rooms and an amazing cabaret room which holds 200 people. The Christmas function is always held on the first Tuesday in December and this year over thirty people attended. The food was traditional Christmas fayre accompanied with wine and port for the toasts. After which we all retired to the Cabaret room and thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment. This year’s event will take place on Tuesday 3rd December 2019 and everyone is welcome to attend.
Our Annual Reunion Weekend is always over the first full weekend in March which this year falls over the period of Friday 6th March – Sunday 8th March 2020 and includes a get together buffet on Friday evening, with a disco, bingo and Karaoke.
On Saturday evening we hold the Annual Reunion Dinner, with speeches from the Chairman & SMAA followed by the Blackpool traditional raffle, Dots special prize for the ladies, then up to the Cabaret room for Karaoke, Disco and sing along.
We look forward to welcoming you all to this year’s functions and enjoying the sights and sounds of Blackpool, Fleetwood and Lytham St Anne’s.
