SSgt Emmerson RBL Appeal Team
had a special guest, Boris Johnson who agreed to participate in a tug of war competition as part of the promotion for the appeal. Unfortunately / fortunately (depends how you view the situation) SSgt Miguel Francis, RAPTCI, 1 R ANGLIAN, was trusted to look after the London Mayor but ‘Boris’ ended up falling on the ground with his suit getting covered in mud. It was a great experience to meet the Mayor and to be part of such a great appeal.

From a PD perspective I have also conducted various distributed training courses throughout the year which have included ETL and weak / non-swimmers courses. The outlook over the next few months will be extremely busy with Major Generals Inspection and Spring Drills, which all lead up to the Queen’s Birthday Parade.
I am now looking forward to starting my new post at 1 GREN GDS, which will start with a CT4 exercise to Kenya from May to Jul 16.
