Closed Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays The library is manned on Wednesdays
and Saturdays by volunteers of Friends
of Thrapston Library. On Thursdays and Fridays it is manned by librarians from Northamptonshire County Council, and by volunteers during lunchtimes 12-2pm.
*Reduced services are available when library run by volunteers, but you can borrow, return and renew books, and other library resources. Pop into the library or call 0300 126 1000 to find out about events.
You may know that Thrapston library has been under threat of closure by Northamptonshire County Council (NCC). NCC are working to find a way of keeping
the library open as part of a statutory provision for the community, and running it with the Friends of Thrapston Library.
