Watching the 2018 Winter Olympics created a strong connecIon with, and admiraIon for, the compeIng athletes. With a liMle research, it was discovered their incredible stories. Between 80% and 90% of Olympic athletes live below the poverty line. Struggling with making rent payments and meeIng everyday financial needs oSen forces athletes to leave their quest to compete in the Olympics or to leave their sport enIrely.
