FIRE SIGNS
Safety signs and notices are used to inform employees and other people in the premises about fire safety.
A number of mandatory signs may be necessary in your building:
• Fire action notice
• Fire door – keep shut
• Fire door – keep locked shut • Push bar to open
• Fire escape – keep clear
Instructions in the event of a fire
For use on self closing fire doors
Outside fire resisting doors to cupboards normally locked On all doors fitted with a panic bolt
On fire doors which may become obstructed
The shape and colour of a sign is an important clue as to their meaning.
