DEFIBRILLATION PROCEDURE
In essence you must continue with CPR until the AED tells you to stop to either analyse the casualty’s heart rhythm, or it decides that a shock should be given.
Under the current 2015 Resuscitation guidelines, you will be administering CPR for two minutes before the AED will prompt you to stop.
