Treatment of
minor epilepsy
• Sit them down in a comfortable position
• Make the area safe for them
• Be calm and reassuring without too much questioning
• Ask about previous occurrences
• Get history from family and friends
• Ask about any medication they may be taking
• Advise to seek medical advice if this is the first occurrence
