I am a passionate promoter of the SHSM, and skilled trades. But what really is understated and has a soft spot with me is the Workplace Pathway. The SHSM program is the only program that I am aware of that gives a real advantage to students going straight to work. Seeing students who have had a “tough row to hoe” in life: gain confidence and completed the SHSM program with all of its advantages, is truly rewarding.
