Most of you will be familiar with the fact that I am a Namibian, with a huge amount of care for vision in this country. A country with opportunities and potential for dynamic leadership to develop the countrymen.
In Namibia, there is a community radio station, Channel 7 that spreads the message of hope through Christ and the Word of God for more than 27 years. I’ve seen this station play a significant role in the lives of people and that is why I became personally involved in the vision of and the station itself.
This community radio station cannot survive on advertising income alone and therefore every year Channel 7 hosts a week-long Radiothon. This year, it will be the first time that there

Today I ask of you to please consider contribution to this initiative as well as the vision of the community radio station and help keep them on the air and spread the Word of God even further in Namibia as well as parts of South Africa. A 10th of the funds generated every year is donated to various community services and this year it will be
allocated to different initiatives around the country to assist with the aid of Covid-19 patients. Over the almost 28 years, this station has managed to grow to broadcasting on 35 FM radio transmitters across the country as well as being available to listen to on DSTV channel 825 and on their streaming site. The station can be heard in various Namibian languages including Afrikaans, English, German and Oshiwambo.
Together, we as a CBI community can come together to help this community station do more and greater things in a great country like Namibia.
