     Purpose
The planning phase is when project plans are documented, project deliverables and requirements are defined, and the project schedule is created. It involves the creation of a set of plans to guide the project team through the implementation and closure phases of the project. Outcomes of the planning phase should include:
• Detailed project schedule illustrating how the project will be conducted
• Communication plan
• Identified risks associated with the project and mitigation actions for these
   Planning
    Monitor project progress and report to CRB.
Escalate to CRB if not ahdering to pre-agreed milestones, if budget is exceeded or additional resource required.

                Process
1. The project manager, with input from the project team, creates a project plan/schedule.
A project plan can be created within a variety of different formats - e.g. Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint. Projects delivered or governed by the ePMO will be entered in KeyedIn and project plans will be created directly within the system.
