High School Completion Rates
•High School Completion Rate (3-year) is the percentage of students in the Grade 10 Cohort who have completed high school by the end of their third year, adjusted for attrition.
•Grade 10 Cohort: Students are included in the Grade 10 Co- hort in the first school year in which they have a grade 10 reg- istration at a public, separate, Francophone, charter or accred- ited private school.
•Attrition: The loss of students due to out-migration and mor- tality, referred to as “attrition”, is estimated from department and Statistics Canada data.
