selves, their heirs, representatives or dependents, on account of, or by reason of, any injury, loss or damage, which may be suffered by said owner or exhibitor or to any property, animate or inanimate, belonging to the owner or exhibitor or used by them, because of any matter, thing or condition, negligence, or default whatsoever and by making entry into any of the OQHA events, the owner and exhibitor hereby assume and accept the full risk of danger of any hurt, injury, or damage which may occur through or by any reason or any matter, whatsoever, and hereby agrees that they will abide by all of the rules and regulations thereof.
22. OREGON BRED: If an exhibitor wishes to qualify an entry for the additional OQHA Oregon Bred Award, the horse must be registered with the OQHA Secretary. High Point Oregon Bred awards will be given in each futurity. 23. DRUG TESTING: Entries must submit to random drug testing; failure to do so will forfeit any winnings.
24. EXHIBITOR: The same person must exhibit the same horse in each go round. 25. Rules Prevail: AQHA rules will prevail unless OQHA Open futurity conditions differ from them. In this case OQHA Open
Futurity rules shall prevail. 26. PURSE: A twenty-five (25) percent office charge will be deducted from entries. The remaining seventy-five (75) percent
of the entry fees, plus the added money becomes the total purse. These futurities and sweepstakes will have a 3 judge single go round. Ten (10) percent of the total purse will be paid for each judges placing with the remaining seventy (70) percent of the total purse paid to the final placings. Late fee/office fee not considered an entry fee and not included in the purse.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR WESTERN PLEASURE: 1. Scoring: There will be one go-round. The combined scores of three judges (one go-round) will determine the overall win-
ners. Faults to be scored in accordance with 2017 AQHA Rulebook. 2. Equipment: Refer to AQHA Rulebook. 3. Warm-up equipment: All horses entered in the event must be present in the arena prior to the completion of the warm-
up period and must be ridden with the same equipment required in the event. 4. Rider's hands: All entries must be shown with both hands on the reins, maintaining light contact with the horse’s mouth.
The rider’s hands should be carried near the pommel and not further than 4" out on either side of the saddle horn. Rider’s hands must be steady with very limited movement. Rider’s hands should be visible to the judge(s) at all times. A tight rein or excessive slack is at no time acceptable. Head carriage should be quiet and natural.
5. Gaits to be judged: All horses will be judged as a pleasure horse at the walk, jog, lope and back as well as on all tran- sitions between gaits. Horses will be asked to work both ways of the arena at three gaits. Horses must reverse to the inside (away from the rail). Horses may be asked to reverse direction at the walk or jog, at the discretion of the judge, but shall not be asked to reverse at the lope. Horses will not be called into the center of the arena from a jog or lope.
6. Judging will be in accordance with AQHA rules.

Age of horse: Open to two year-old stallions, mares or geldings registered with a recognized stock horse breed association. 2. Rider qualifications: Any person may ride any nominated horse in the open division. Non-Pro exhibitors refer to general

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR JUNIOR GREEN HORSE TRAIL SWEEPSTAKES & SENIOR HORSE TRAIL MATURITY: 1. Horse Qualifications: Junior Horse Sweepstakes is open to junior horses who have earned 25 points or less in breed com-
petition and $1000.00 or less in trail competition. The senior horse maturity is open to all horses 6 years and older. 2. Rider qualifications: Any person may ride any nominated horse in the open division. Non-Pro exhibitors refer to general
