This catalog of unidenti able items born of or morphed by human civilization represents the “imperfect” components that make up every ecosystem. These artifacts draw on themes of natural history, urban biodiversity, and decay. In removing them from their original locations, they all take on a similar agency. Like our inability/ability to categorize them as human, natural, or unnatural, we often cannot predict their lifespans, origins, or effects.
