Gibson works in both lm and digital. She can go from liquid emulsion and purposely overusing chemicals in the darkroom, to applying paint and chalk to digital prints. She likes experimenting with textures, especially to lend her images a battered ap- pearance–to celebrate rather than hide “the beauty, scars and cracks in us, as that is what makes us human.”
